Does anyone know if Nute Gunray triggers Scrap heap to give you a resource?

Maybe I'm reading too much into the semantics.

Gunray says that the opponent gets 1 fewer resource unless they mill 2 cards.

scrap heap says that you get a resource "when YOU discard one or more cards from an opponent's deck".

so is the mill coming from Gunray and therefore "YOU", or is it the opponent.

Based on our precedent from TIE Pilot, I think that Nute's ability won't trigger Scrap Heap.

this is one interaction i saw and decided to myself it doesnt work based on gunray "...unless that opponent discards the top 2 cards of their deck" indicating that me the player isnt actually discarding anything.

I'm not sure of how you could finagle it to still consider it you discarded them. I also think it would be a bit powerful to let scrapheap work with his ability so im not holding my breath on it.

I'm not sure if you controlling Gunray counts and "YOU" doing the discarding. So it's kinda... weird
