I flew this in a hanger bay on Sunday, got second (small group tho) and then played it a couple of times on TTS. So far 4/0. not a big sample, but I really like it.

I know it is not the optimal build for Norra. I also know that there is a good chance Jan or Wedge can get one shot off the board on turn one. I also know... there is no perfect target out of the gate. Each opponent was questioning it. They all went for Wedge first.

So the list moves really fast, and they don't expect it to move that quickly because typically these three ships are slow rollers, especially with Rey on board. Each time I lose wedge's integrated astromech on the first or second round of firing, but he bugs out and Jan/Norra cluster it up and still deal damage. Wedge rejoins to mop up, if he didn't die.

It's not durable, but the way I fly is get in, kill, get out. and it works very well for it.

I love the builds. That Wedge is the only way I build him these days, and that Norra is a really strong budget ace. I wonder how effective Jan is, but with an ability like that, it must have great potential with 2 big guns to go along. Though, a Fenn Rau build could make the list a little more survivable...

I've been testing Fenn as well with the above two being the lists I've tried prior to the Norra build in the OP. Wedge dies way to fast as he becomes the very obvious first target. However, the Wedge/Jan/Fenn list is a lot of fun and pretty deadly, but requires perfect flying.

The Fenn/Norra/Wedge list is also pretty powerful, but still lacks offensive output. I feel with Wedge and Norra in the same squad it ends up being a pure aggro squad. Hit hard, hit fast, erase a ship or two on the first past, or severely cripple them. Then still have enough offense for Norra to clean up in the end game.

I don't think Wedge dying first is the worst result - after all, that just gives more time for Focus tokens to stack. Plus, it can't be easy what with trying to eat through Fenn's ability too.

Out of those 2 lists, I'm really not sure which is strongest. I know in a previous thread I inputted on the second one, and I still stand by it- though you do have room for Kyle Katarn rather than Nien. That's a very powerful offense, coupled with Fenn's control. You could substitute Wedge for the higher HP Norra in your 1st build, but that's a matter of taste.

In the 1st list, I think WE would be a better choice than HSCP. Norra would appreciate the rerolls as much as Wedge.

They both have great potential. I think the difference is: Wedge/Fenn/Jan has a little more late game consistency, while Wedge/Fenn/Norra hits harder off the bat.
