My arts teacher was asking us annoying questions and ridiculing us for not knowing a particular opera. I actually asked him this and he was baffled. I had no idea this is actually a thing more people do .

(It is also the only time I used it)

I almost did it at a company meeting today when they asked if anyone had a question.
