Of the 6 rebel ships with astromech slots only the E-wing can barrel roll without an upgrade, and only the T-70 can boost without an upgrade.

BB-8, Flight-Assist and RZ-T1 would be pretty sad if you had to spend 2 points on Vectored Thrusters or 4 on Engine Upgrade to make them function.
