Are These Tournament Legal?

By Boba Rick, in X-Wing

Per the Tournament Rules...

During tournament play, each player is required to use components included in official X-Wing products with the exception of third party maneuver templates, tokens, and range rulers, the use of which is addressed below.

That said, I can't imagine a FLGS would care so long as the dials are accurate. At higher echelon events, I'd be wary of the odd opponent that throws a fit.

It's not ok because there isn't one for the Gunboat. Sorry, can't use it.

We like cog-o-two, and if you were in the UK not a single soul would complain. (And if you ask them for a Gunboat they’d probably make one).

I suspect the best way is to contact a couple of people who’ve TOd and ask their opinion. All in all though, he should be able to borrow them from someone before a tournament, surely?

They are Cog-o-Two dials. I have some, but gave up using them when I realized that binding them with magnets they are really slick and tend to move as you pick them up. And you have to color them in yourself (maneuvers, etc). Locally, go nuts. But I wouldn't bring them to anything Regionals (maybe even store champs) and higher. FFG is notoriously generous with their replacement stuff, I'd suggest writing to them that you are missing two of your dials!

(Seriously you guys, 10 hours and you didn't yet post this. Shame)

Technically, no, but mostly unenforced.
