Was just browsing miniature market, saw army-specific paint sets available for preorder? Didn’t remember seeing any news about any of that, outside the original painter’s guides. Maybe I’m wrong, but if I’m not, cool. Spark of hope!

Why wait? Look at the colors that come in the set and go pick them up from your FLGS... i think the army painter guide booklet is also free on the army painter display rack

I saw a few at my LGS

Oh yeah not for me, I’m 98% through my Daqan, probably 65% through Waiqar, 90% through Latari, and just getting started on Uthuk but think I have my paint schemes figured out. Of course I’m also a non-basing heathen and so many people may see me as 0% complete across the board. For those of us who have been in since day one these are probably useless. I was just bringing it up because:

A) I hadn’t seen those listed anywhere before and make sure I hadn’t missed some announcement in there, but more importantly

B) Shows more product, which can only be a good thing in this age of Iron and Rust we seem to have entered in many people’s minds (I’m still trying to fight it, love this game) for the longevity of this game. Also generates hope for a long term strategy to try and recruit and entice new player in (especially those with no prior miniatures painting background) to kind of one-stop-shop everything they need to have a complete, epically painted army. Sounds good to me!

I'm a relatively recent addition to the game, and to the painting. So I've been following them since Army Painter first announced them.

I'm getting ready to highlight my Flesh Rippers now. I used way more Dragon Red than I thought it would take to get 8 figures painted. I may end up getting the Uthuk one to have more of my most-used colors.

And includes a 24 page painting guide..... makes me wonder if there are new guides for the other new factions that they haven't put the PDFs up yet...
