If your equip deadeye, can you still target lock and use target lock, or you must treat the target lock has a concentration???

Using Deadeye is optional, and you may still do anything you would normally do with a target lock.

Do what the card says. Do not do what the card doesn’t say.

As jmswood states. Deadeye says may so that means you can use your focus to fire a secondary weapon that has the target lock restriction, and spend the focus if the secondary weapon instructs so.

You can still do and use Target Lock when you have one. So if you have a Focus and a Target Lock on an enemy Ship, with deadeye you could use the focus token to fire your Plasma Torpedoes which would spend your focus, but you could still spend the target Lock to re-roll any attack dice you want.

So yeah you can still target lock and use it.
