Hey there!
It looks like the new setting book will have some crafting rules. In the mean time, how easy do you think it would be to convert the FFG Star Wars crafting rules over to this system for fantasy?

Shouldn't be too hard. There's a wide enough set of options that it can cover nearly any weapon and armor. You might need to give new names to some things, and maybe use the chart provided in the teaser.
I would think it’s a direct port, with only name replacement required for most. Different settings may have different advantage costs for certain enhancements, particularly the weapon effects.
Armor would be fine just rename powered armour as magic armour for fantasy (Rune skill to craft).
Brawl/Melee Weapons basicly fit everywhere.
Lightsabers are really just magic swords, perhaps some different “hilts” for different weapon types such as axes and hammers. Crystals are great converted to Runes.
Ranged Weapons need renaming and probably limiting, particularly on a fantasy setting, but the numbers are fine.
Edited by RichardbuxtonPerfect! Thanks for the responses. I will have to start looking into those.
If you can get a copy of Special Modifications it gets you all the normal weapon stuff, as well as guidelines on crafting general equipment and cybernetics (although with the large change to Cybernetics between SW and G makes those less accurate).
Armour stuff is in the Keeping the Peace supplement.
Edit: Oh and if magic weapons are wanted by your group then it’s a bit harder. The hilt Crafting rules are in Endless Vigil But the crystals are scattered throughout all the Force and Destiny books.
Edited by RichardbuxtonI did a basic retooling of the Star Wars crafting system for Alchemy , and it wasn’t too difficult.

Once I put the finishing touches on it, I’ll do just that.
