Playable Chaos

By Brian888, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Hi everyone, first time poster here. I'm not sure if this has been addressed or not, but I haven't seen any news on it. Is FFG planning on producing a supplement that allows you to play as a follower of Chaos?

No concrete news as of yet.

Although it's a pretty safe bet that they will, eventually.

The Tome of Corruption from 2nd edition was a HUGE hit, so I can't imagine that they wouldn't bring some of those concepts across in this system.

We NEED mutations!!!

I'm guessing (hoping really) that FFG will eventually release a v3 supplement equivalent to the Tome of Corruption which will go into much greater detail on Chaos and its workings. I'm not sure that that means we will see "playable" Chaos characters (I kind of doubt it actually) but at least it should provide additional options and inspiration for those who want to run Chaos-based campaigns.

And don't forget, plenty of mutation cards!

Yes. I would love to see a deck of mutation cards!!!

I think it would be an interesting twist to a campaign to have one of your players (in secret) fall to chaos - have them work secretly against the other players and give them options for clandestine actions during the campaign.

I appreciate this requires a certain maturity and careful planning but nothing makes heroes more heroic than dealing with betrayal from within their own ranks...

i just had a thought,

that forth riddle thing in that PDF talked about chaos like stuff, most people thought it was a bestiary or something like that, maybe it is that.

That would be AWESOME!!!
