Fast characters or creatures

By gandalf9700, in Genesys

What is the best way to represent faster characters and creatures, would it be with talents since movement is abstract? I was thinking extra attacks or something like that.

Well which, more movement, more attacks or both? What setting? PCs or opponents?

How much faster?

A fantasy setting with a small 2-3" bipedal creature that is twice as fast as a human. Not necessarily attack, would he get more defense?

I'm assuming you mean 2–3 feet , not 2–3 inches .

But that's neither here nor there. What, narratively, are you looking for? What does "faster" mean to you? Move from point A to point B quicker? Harder to hit? Something else? Once we know what you want them to do we can help with game mechanics.

I would probably give them a second free manoeuvre per round. They still can’t perform more than two each round but they never pay Strain to perform two manoeuvres. It’s probably worth about 15xp when calculating the species xp.

^ This, and/or you can give the creature ranks in Athletics or Coordination, which you can then leverage in chases.

Thank you I will use all these and yes I meant feet, thank you so much.
