Edited by NairoDStandard size will be 6x3 play area and 800pts.
Demo games, suitable for a single core box, is probably 3x3
Thx @Soulless
Big tabela to make.
3 tables i want to make are
1) Naboo/Endor swamps - probably Endor as I have cheep source for Naboo fighters - mainly trees with few rocks
2) Tatooine desert/Town - fast and Easy to made
3) Hoth Base
Work for army of people. Probably will do alone one table before Legion hit to shops in Poland.
A standard warhammer table (6'x4') has 6 inches for each players to place their cards.
The demo tables at gencon for Lothol and Sullust were 3' x 3', the Sullust table had a secondary piece if you wanted to make it 3' x 6' .

I would assume the Endor bunker one was on the larger side so probably 6' x 3'
Thx for links
Lothal table is awesome.
For a half sized table I'd go with 4'x3' so you have room for cards, tokens, dead units, etc. Then you can put a nice 3'x3' game mat in the middle. You could also put two together for a full sized table.
Those Gencon tables are gorgeous. I can hardly wait for my 3D printer to come.

Make the tables full size so they can be used later for standard games, otherwise they will stand more or less unused in a few months. 6x4 is ideal to get that extra space for tokens, cards and dice.
I have a foldup party table with two boards, 4x3 each. If im playing a big game I put both boards ontop for a full 6x4 table, and if im playing something smaller such as x-wing I only use one of the boards. I use gaming mats in neoprene though so perhaps not as detailed a board that you might be looking to do.
Whatever the case though, dont put too much effort into tables designed only for introductionary games, make sure they are usable later as well!
Have one more question about tables
what is the scale of miniatres for Legion is it 1:32 or 1:48?

about 1:50/56 is our best guess. 1:48 will work but may look a tad out.

So for now we only guess. Is there any size comparison to other miniatures?
I ask because I started rolling for models to put as terrain. So far I found cheep Naboo fighter and Jedi starfighters from revell.
There is also Resistance A-wing but he is rather expensive.

The Resistance A-Wing is great. They do the RZ-1 as well.
Wow.
Didn't expect such size. Hope it fit to the Legion

The base makes it look more like a Legion Trooper.

Nope - it can't be - the stance looks similar to SWIA though only mirrored.

Its not the normal IA troopers thats for sure. I dont have the extra pack you can buy, not sure if they are different or not. The base is too big for IA, looks like Legion to me from what ive seen on pics.

Yeah thats what made me think it was looks pretty similar.
It’s an IA Stormtrooper, but I rebase them which is why it looks a little bit different.

Ahh ok thanks man for the reply. Nice paint job on the mini. Still wondering wether to use the revell kits as they might be a tad to small. Suppose there nothing else out there that would look that good or easy to get hold off.
