I'm itching to do some space ship painting, but don't have any idea what ship I should do. I have done HWKs, a TIE Punisher, Scycks, and minor things on my X-Wings, Y-Wings, YV-666, Falcon, Outrider, and GR-75. What models would you guys say are fun to paint, and what kind of colour schemes could be fun?

Entirely depends on you. Avoid red, yellow or white for big surfaces since that colours were created by Lucifer to torment de mankind. Imperial ships has rigid and uniformed schemes, so they are not very good to repaint if you wanna fit them in normal SW universe. Rebel scum and Scum scum have more options.
What to repaint? What yo want. I like teams of various ships at same scheme, making a gang or whatever. Put your hand over your ships and don't think, just feel. You'll feel the ship that wants to be repainted.
The U-wing has been the most rewarding for me. Suuuuuper fun to paint, and you can do all sorts of things with it. I really have fun with the "Most Wanted" Y-wing scheme, but I haven't done too much else.
@Minaith, what is it about red/yellow that is such a pain? White crushes my soul, but I've found red to be one of the easier colors. (I'm super new to painting, and you are not the first I've heard this from.)
Edited by IAmRhynScurrg! - definitely the Scurrg - those large flat panels make a great canvas. But there is sufficient detail to the sculpt that it's still interesting even if you opt for a non-fantastical paint job.
A couple of people have said similar of the Kimo also.
Scurrg and U-Wing are both ships I have, like, and haven't even considered, yet! Thanks for the suggestions.

Maybe it depends on the paint you choose. For me, yellow is the absolute impossible and tormenting one. Red and white, I can do it with sprays and/or super-pigmented paints. They are a teeth pain anyway.
The most fun for me to paint so far:
Kimo, Quadjumper, Scurrg, B-Wing, HWK, U-Wing, YT-1300, 2400, VCX, Firespray, Misthunter and ARC.
It is done! Thanks for the suggestions, it was a lot of fun painting this U-Wing and I am pretty happy with the result.
