I have been sitting on the PODs in reserve for a while, and now with the next Carcosa not beong until the end of January, I am thinking about pulling one of these out. However, I have a little less playtime than usual tonight. Can either of these be completed in about two hours?

Carnivale of horror is a long one. I swear that one consistently takes us more than 4 hours

Rougarou is short if you gear up for combat. Less so if you take another route

I just finished Carnivale of horror in 10 minutes. It wasn't the best resolution but the games complete.

Never played either solo, which would definitely be quicker, but with four players they’re easily 3-4 hours each. If you want to get a better resolution than @Meretrix, anyway! ?

It would be two player. It sounds like I may be out of luck with these. Might do Mansions of Madness instead then.

I think they're just fine with 2 players. Rougarou takes a bit more time then the average scenario, carnevale though... takes quite a bit of time.

Don't try carnevale solo, I'm not even sure that it's doable solo.

It is perfectly playable solo, why wouldn’t it be?

I’ve had succes with Agnes, Pete and Jim in solo.

Really? What difficulty?

Whenever I tried it flipped enemies would mulch me unless I thoroughly explored first in which case that treachery invariably switched them around.

Agnes and Pete on Standard, Jim on both Standard and Hard, although it took me a lot (and I mean a whole lot) of attempts to get it on Hard.
