Happy Friday, Sorry this is not the normal time but Friday on Friday for most people is great.
I have a cold so I wanted to ask when you feel like chopping off your nose what games to you like to play?
Back to sleep I go.

First!
Card and board games like snakes and ladders.
Simple. No glaring screen. Games i know well enough to play half asleep.
Edited by DrakonLordPlay Armada with a fleet of 3 Vicks Star Destroyers.
Decongestant joke, honest.
CubanBoy gets nosy!
Thank you so much for so many Happy Fridays!
We are getting a ton of rain that is going to freeze and then snow!
I am going to be at work for most of the worst of it
Going to the cabin soon, so no armada for me this weekend. But maybe some card games or simple family games.
Wind Chill -40, and because my car is still in the shop, I’m still having to walk 1km+ from bus to work and back....
if if I get a cold in this weather, and have to keep working like this... I’ll probably die.
but right now, I want to play anything... just got no time at all...
This is any easy one.
Having just got over the 3rd cold I've had this season, I'd recommend this.
Clear your schedule. Get a ton of ginger ale and tissues. Fire up your favorite show or movie series on TV (I think I've done DBZ abridged, Dr Who, and Star Wars this season). Wrap yourself in the most comfortable blankets. Then dig out
YE OLE
GameBoy Advanced
(or a DS that can play Roms at least).
-Golden Sun I-III
-Final Fantasy (Tactics preferred)
-Advanced Wars I-III
-Metroid Zero Mission
-Metroid Fusion
-Zoids
-Pokemon Gen I-III
-Fire Emblem (any... they're all pretty great)
all great plays while fighting colds...
After a day pretending to be a blanket caterpillar and watching/playing your favorites, you'll feel right as rain.
PS. Feel better
@Cubanboy
Happy Friday!
While I'm sick and bedridden I tend to slam through books, preferably something more lighthearted and adventurous. Ciaphas Cain, The Dresden File etc.
I try to avoid anything competitive whem I'm sick for gaming, but I'll play some Skyrim or Fallout or other games with waaay too many sidequests to just kill time.
I curl up with a good solo computer game like Xenonauts (x-com revival), Wasteland 2, or Battlestar Galactica Deadlock.
Something that can take a lot of time and is turn based so I can zone out or nap right in the middle of the game.
Happy Friday!
I typically don't get downtime while ill, but when I do, I'll paint minis or play Civ V. Or if it's serious I'll pass out on the couch with the TV on and three dogs on top of me.

Man I had forgotten all about Xenonauts. I love all those X-Com like games.
