Played 1 last game before regionals this coming Saturday (same one as @duck_bird). I made some tweaks to my list that I wanted to try out against some rebel fighters with Yavaris (in my opinion my weakest game). I met up at the FLGS, and had requested my opponent bring a list with fighters and Yavaris.
He brought:
AF2A (people actually use that version?) - Dodonna, Raymus, XI7, ECM
Nebulon B Escort- Yavaris, Flight Controller, Fighter Coordination Team
TRC90
GR75- Bright Hope, Bomber Command Center
Jan Ors, Biggs, 3 X-Wing, Norra, 3 Y-Wing
I chose first player, and decided on Precision Strike over Fighter Ambush or Superior Positions. After, we decided Fighter Ambush probably would have been the better choice with no relay, because Yavaris really needed to be close to the squadrons to take effect.
I was running Screed with ISD1, Gladiator 1, Raider 1, 2 Gozanti, 2 Decimator, Valen
Deployment. A big change for me was taking Engine Techs off the Gladiator, which I've decided is horrible. The plan is to swing the ISD and Gladiator around to flank.

End of turn 1. I'm slow rolling, letting them come to me.

End of turn 2. I decided to barge my ISD through the debris field to get it in the fight sooner. I'm getting ready to pounce on his squadrons.

End of turn 3. I really should have put Valen between the 2 Decimators for maximum effect. The ISD is lining up nicely for an attack on the Assault Frigate carrying Dodonna, but the Gladiator is really out of position. I was missing Engine Techs by this point.

End of turn 4. I impressed myself with some millimeter close maneuvering this turn, and I have Dodonna right where I want him, double arc with the ISD (barely). My squads are taking a beating, but they're doing their job holding up some of the enemy bombers.

End of turn 5. I killed Dodonna and lost the Raider. My anti-squadron ability is now falling apart, so I decided to run away with the ISD, to avoid giving more tokens to my opponent (he had a lot more than I did). The Gladiator is FINALLY getting into the fight with its first shots of the game.

End of the game. I lost a flotilla, Raider, Valen, and a Decimator. I destroyed about half of his squads and his flagship. Based just on that it was pretty much a tie. Unfortunately he outscored me on objectives, 11-3, and it ended up being a rebel victory of 278-215.

The game (as always) was a lot of fun, and helped point out to look at the objectives in correlation to the opponents fleet build. Like I mentioned above, a different objective may have served me better. A few final modifications have been made to the list, and I'm looking forward to seeing @CyborgNinja, @duck_bird, and @Truthiness on Saturday. A full day of Armada is tough to beat, and alt art cards are the best reason to go ?
