It technically qualifies as a CC fleet too :P

I find that people struggle TREMENDOUSLY with getting VSD-1's on target. They are very easy to arc dodge, and once something is past the front arc you aren't getting it trained again. Adding 1 of them as a followup sweeper for your admiral to sit on with tua ECM can be really effective cause they are tough to kill, and you can use your other ships to create lanes to park the VSD in to help it get shots. But I wouldn't rely on it as a primary damage source, it's just too easy to counterplay.

I've been flying 5 Vic1s without JJ lately and Broba's right, it's way too easy to keep out of the danger zone and once your opponents out they have no trouble staying out. I'd opt for the JJ ER option you mentioned and I'd try to get one of those Vics upgraded to a Vic2 with Dcaps and Gunnery Teams if at all possible. Then run your Vic1 as the flagship sweeper like he suggested.
