Ezra+Gunner+R3-A2

Why does everybody say this is a double stress? I have to miss on the first attack to activate gunner. What am I missing?

It is double stress of you miss. Because R3-A2 doesn't need the attack to be successful. You do the stress thing when declaring target.

It's as Giledhil says. I thought Gunner was like TLT, but it isn't. Two shots from gunner is two stress on target.

Its pretty easy to miss with a 2 die attack. The other day I got a Weapons Failure crit on an enemy Stressbug from a bomblet and he was just throwing 1 die attacks and double stressing from then on. Kinda sucked.

The alternate version I've seen has Snap shot which works at r1 out the front and back and can deliver further stress as it is another attack. Pretty good as a cheaper control piece.

This is the same combo effect as you would get putting an Gunner and R3-A2 on an ARC. On your 1st attack you stress yourself to give a stress. On the ARC, if you are shooting from the front you choose not use your title benefit to only roll 2 red dice because you want to miss. If you do, gunner triggers and you take a second stress to give a second stress, but this time you use the title benefit to get the extra red die.

Snap Shot does NOT work out the rear arc. It is a secondary weapon, which by the rules is primary arc only.

You are correct, thought I saw it happen on stream (where I saw the build), I was probably mistaken though, makes sense that it only works out the primary arc.

Still a valid form of secondary attack though.

Was it a Gold Squadron stream? People like to cheat there
