So 2 weeks untill regionals and still havent found the list to play. But this list is 4-0 so far

2x Delta defenders with x7 56pt

2x Alphaclass with Harpoon and Lrs 44pt

Im not satisfied with alphas slamming around, amazing blockers. But they need arc on R2+ to deal dmg and a reload and and 18pts for 7hull 2green....OK

Ive started to look for replacements, but only a punisher mesures up to an alpha HP vs pts

Im looking for more constant dmg to keep the pressure and still take a bomb.

any ideas?

Here is a slightly different option-- using Flechettes instead of Harpoons. I know Harpoons are all the rage, but with so much of the metagame being focused on harpoons and especially how to counter them, not relying on them at all could work. The flechettes allow you to have some degree of stress control, as well as a large area coverage of being able to slam and shoot.

Well as you mentioned during our battle you don't want to fly 4 ships for six games. Period.

And in our match you only had to beat 56 points of Dash as Poe did nothing (my fault as I didn't dare to turn in on turn three). =)

I think it is a solid list but the scary thing is the harpoons on the Nu's. The defenders are just anoying but not really a threat as they move too early but are hard as **** to kill. Maybe switch one defender for another Alpha.

Trick Shot or Adaptability on Maarek although you will get PS8 with no bid so I'd go with Trick Shot or ASTS to really push through crits.

I had put together a few builds with the flechette nu's. It's fun to fly. They go anywhere and everywhere. The issue you will find is they don't hit very hard. And you can't pile stress. You need something to fly along with it that can do lots of damage. unfortunately, I don't know if the deltas can pull that off.

For the record, I couldn't find something reasonable to pair with it either. Kylo or Quickdraw, or a pair of poon starwings maybe.

Im 6-0 with this list now.

Need to plan the alpha reloadroute when placing rocks, they are a pain to make useful.

If the Deltas gets focused then the alphas reload faster.

If the alphas gets hunted the defenders can take TLs.

Takes alot of thinking to fly this, so thats the primary reason why its a bad tournamnet list :/

I don't think bombs are that scary here, they have plenty of HP. Honeslty, while I would prefer the XG-1 Flechettes, I think that this list is very interesting. Similar to the BBXX list I love to fly. It's all about you, not the ships.

Its 8-1 now, the loss was my first game vs Nymiranda. I wanted to see what happened if I did wrong, so went for Miranda.

He got 3 ships down, I got Miranda and 4 shields of Nym (when he got to rampage with bombs and harpoons).

Today i tried with Ioncannons, wich was really nice! But missing the initial burst.

played va Vessery, Marek, QD.

Mareek with 2 hull left and I lost a defender.

so im really torn on how to play this list now ;) Stockholm regional on saturday.
