Latest version. I was running Fenn with no droid and pattern analyzer on Jess and it was great. Tried Ezra with stress bot instead of Fenn and it was great against expertise ships but Dengar was a pain with expertise because of the higher PS. Now Fenn can stress any expertise ship before it fires and it can shut off all dice modification for any token stacked harpoon missile or alpha strike ship. Basically allows Fenn to pick and choose the best way to hinder your attack no matter what you are running. Adaptability is key on Jess to get her to PS 4 so that she can get at least 1 return shot on a missile or cannon Rho boat alpha strike

How committed are you to using the ghost in this list?

If you really want to run it as a rebel swarm, you need to put in Lowhrick. He's the one that gives defense. I know it will limit your offensive firepower compared to the ghost, but this type of build makes your list very hard to kill.

Ghost is so much better than Lowhrick in this list. Ghost is more maneuverable with higher firepower and generally I am throwing target lock focus 4 die shots from the initial engagement. Lowhrick works in a swarm list that is trying to spread damage around. This list is all about offensive firepower. two big guns and two little guns that screw with your shots that shoot first. I rarely keep tokens for defense and put everything into offense. Works great.

I agree with Biggsy_boy, and against an alpha strike the ghost will melt really fast, additionally, this will get killed by any aces with re-positioning and/or non token mods (ie. Expertise, ASTS, Predator, Maul, Dengar[crew] etc.) additionally, I am of the mind that if you're ships cannot get 2+tokens per round, a support ship could be helpful. Also PS will be a problem with Fenn because PS. 11 and 12 are more of a thing now with a ton of aces flying around. I also think that if you cut Rex or Jess than you can flesh out the other ships more because they all seem a bit light. Depending on how you fly this (swarm like or independently) will influence how quickly this melts. Long story short, I think that a different kind of swarm (8 Z-95s) or cutting one ship would be best, Especially the VCX, particularly because when I fly a 0 agility ship (even with Isard) I go from invincible to almost dead in like 2-3 rounds.

I have to disagree whole heartedly with that. Just flew it against kylo aces and my opponent has to work so hard to avoid being shot that they are rarely taking shots and this list can k turn and cover so many arcs effectively that it is very difficult to not be shot at. A bomb launching Nym has to stand up to the front of this list to fire it and it melts under this firepower. It went up against Expertise Auzitucks and the stress droid shut off one expertise and it all went downhill for my opponent from there. Fenn does enough to shut off one ships alpha strike ability no matter what their PS is that alpha strikes can't one shot a ship. Even if they were to get them all off they wouldn't be able to drop the ghost in one shot. This has so many hitpoints that you can't out joust it.

this idea has certainly piqued my interest, I will think about an imperial version of this being a mainly imperial player... unfortunately the deci is more expensive...

I can't really contibute to the Ghost / Auzituck debate; I know a FCS ghost with Hera is really good, but I haven't had the opportunity to fly the Auzituck yet. I will say that with 16 health it's not an easy ship to alpha even with harpoons; you need at least 4 to reliably kill it, so you're probably getting at least one shot off.

Also, I'd strongly suggest FAA on Jess over the EPT droid + Adaptability; besides FAA being a massive help maneuver-wise, I think Jess prefers PS 3 to 4 in this list. It's not a huge deal if you get in Rex's way, since he's mostly just there as a nuisance, but being able to maneuver around the large-base Ghost as needed is a massive help.

I had actually gone with ps 4. To make sure I got a return shot against ps 4 boats, but I don't really see them out there at that ps, so I am thinking of dropping it back to 3 because it does make her easier to move around the ghost.
