@SgtDurandal what was the final list composition for you? Congratulations for representing the state and showing strong. Are you heading to worlds now?

@Palanthas I submitted my app for Worlds last night.... then I looked at the dates. Unfortunately, the Family and I already have plane tickets purchased to visit our new nephew in Washington that same week. If the tourney was on the weekend I might be able to make it but Wed and Thurs just isn't going to be possible from me. I was extremely bummed out when I saw that.

@durandal343 and I have been on a short break post Regionals but we're working on some more stuff that we hope to start bringing out next week. As I was lucky enough to get a reserved ticket to Worlds he's going to be helping me prep by destroying all my pretty ships.

On another note stay tuned for a special announcement as it's looking like we'll be able to offer everyone a "cross over" episode with the Armchair Admiral guys. @Andydriver have been working on a plan to stream a match tomorrow evening. So for the first time ever we'll be putting on a Durandal Initiative vs Armchair Admirals friendly match! We're pretty excited.

LOL! @durandal343 and I were just talking about the Sloan fleet you've been fielding in your Worlds Prep vids... It looks terrible. Like, terrible to be sitting across from it. Also, looks like we have very similar squads. It's going to be a fighter squadron blood bath!

Also, full disclosure, I've never played against another Sloan fleet before so this will be a learning experience for me.

For future streams, is there any way you can lower the dice cam? It's far enough up that the glare from the light washes out the icons most of the time, and when it doesn't the dice icons are too small to effectively tell crits from hits. If not, it's no big deal - just a quality of life improvement that others might like!

Love the feedback! We'll do our best to make an improvement on the dice cam. Just today I setup a new rig for mounting the cameras and the lights so it should improve. Tonight, however, we'll be at @durandal343 house and his setup is a little different than mine so it might not be a problem at all. Let us know in the comments and we'll do what we can on the fly.

Just looked at our vid from last night and yeah, I'll have to do something about that. I couldn't tell what was on the die faces at all. I had the contrast/etc all set up so you could and I'm wondering if it's my new fancy dice that are causing a problem. Either way it was basically useless to have the camera except to count how many dice were used
