We shall double our efforts!

By Sharego, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Hello guys!

After several months without playing( nearly 7 months) , onle reading the forum, I return to Armada again and this is the list I made. I hope your help to improve it!

Thanks in advance!

We shall double our efforts! (400/400)
Empire

Commander: Moff Jerjerrod

Objectives: Most Wanted, Sensor Net, Fire Lanes

[flagship] Arquitens-class Light Cruiser (54)
- Moff Jerjerrod (23)
- Electronic Counter Measures (7)
- Slaved Turrets (6)
= 90 total points

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23)
= 23 total points

Gozanti-class Cruisers (23)
= 23 total points

Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer (56)
- Demolisher (10)
- Intel Officer (7)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes (5)
- Engine Techs (8)
- Ordnance Experts (4)
= 90 total points

Arquitens-class Light Cruiser (54)
- Slaved Turrets (6)
= 60 total points

Squadrons (114/134):
2x Lambda-class Shuttle (30)
1x Morna Kee VT-49 Decimator (27)
2x VT-49 Decimator (44)
1x Valen Rudor TIE Fighter Squadron (13)

the idea is go second or first, don’ Care. That’s why I have strategic. I am concerned about jerry on the arq and maybe flaws I didn’t see.

Nice! I view Arqs as a very under appreciated ship, it’s great to see someone else flying them. :) A few notes: when you’re throwing four red dice (with CF), there’s likely to be blank(s). Rather than adding a fifth with Slaved Turrets, it’s generally better to fix blanks with DTT or shell out a point for my riskier favorite, TRC (Needa helps there.) RBD is considered better than ECM, because the braceless, redundant redirect defense suite frankly isn’t usually as important as having more hull. One Gozanti would likely appreciate a Comms Net. If you need to free up space, I’d start with Demo’s pricier upgrades.

I agree. Slaved turrets has its place in a Vader fleet.

Take RBD + DTT on Moff JJ's ship and Needa + TRC on the other.

Drop Engine Techs (since the Demolisher FAQ it is more of a luxury) and upgrade a Lamda to BOSSK

Thanks alot for the advices @The Jabbawookie and @Mad Cat I will do that. :D

About Bosk @Mad Cat is not risky to have only one strategic unit with the missions I have?

If you only had 60 points of squadrons I would be worried but with 114-125 points in squadrons I think you should be fine. Most of your others are rogue anyway so a lack of relay won't hurt. If you are concerned for the missions then replace a decimator with Bossk instead or replace Valen Rudor with an escort capable squadron like a Tie-A or Zertek storm.

Another idea is to use redundant shields allowing you to use Jerry every turn on the Arc and heal the shield you remove doing so.

I can see the argument for removing ET from the Glad, but I like to keep it as it makes escaping and chasing down opponents much easier.

Well finally I played 3 match

first against screed isd1 cymoon victory 2. Played my fire lines I won I destroyed cymoon but other player gain a lot of tokens.

second match was against Ackbar h1,3 guppys gt I don’t remember the mission vut I kill h1 and a guppy a lot of luck with dice.

Third match against motti isd 2, Vic 2 with dc and a demo 4 ties.

we played fire lines I lost arq, demo, zertrik, and a lot of tokens.

i think fire lines I play it very bad so I will change planetary I think I need a little more puch against big ships.

I didn’t play against heavy squadron fleet but I like the fleet it’s fun and can give some surprise it’s not for win big, but I never win big in regionals or anything else so why no try it in a regional!!!

here I go!

you would benefit greatly from finding points for intel officers on the two arqs.
