Alright, I am registered. At least I beat that kook @MandalorianMoose at something related to this regional.

Maybe @Tiberius the Killer and @Kerg12 know some more So Cal people on the forums.... was gonna try and ping some people but I am having a real hard time remembering who is around here for some reason.

@BrobaFett There was another, but I can seem to find his account. It was mandelorian moose. Other than you 2 I don't know of any except on FB

Would you mind sharing it to FB? I am not on any of the Armada FB groups, and figure sooner and wider we get the word out the better.

I am going to this one! I'm up in NorCal.

Thanks Hedge! I know there are a lot of Armada groups out there, looking forward to meeting all of you!

Speaking of meeting all the Armada players, I am going to be getting breakfast at 9:30 at Farmer Boys around the corner from the store, all Armada people that want to fuel up and get to know each other before the tournament are welcome to join me!

Just gonna give this a little bump back to the main page a reminder the regional is coming up in case anyone is looking for information on it.

@The Recreator any word on how many people are registered so far and if Comic Quest will have W7 in stock by then? I called the store recently and they didn't have any updates, but maybe you know more than me.

@The Recreator or @BrobaFett , what are the chances of this requiring pre-registration to attend? I'm just not comfortable with using paypal for a non-refundable ticket.

I doubt you will need to pre-pay cactus. You making the drive? Bringing some others from "Old California" with you?

Ah, so you also went to the Lewis Black show.

I'll be joining a friend who was already going to be in the area, we'll both be making an effort. After last year where I was just barely out of last place, this time I'm planning on being a little more threatening :)

Haha well there are a couple of us around here pushing hard for a win too, so it will certainly be an interesting tournament! Would be fun to meet you in person though, either way!

I know this is a tad early but anyone meeting for breakfast day of?

Just a heads up, I’m a little salty from my crushing defeat at the hand of Riekaan Ace’s, so now I’m gonna be THAT guy and bring it myself...

Mando beat me to it, but good to reiterate for anyone going, me and all the cool armada kids (good, good, let the peer pressure flow though you) are gonna be meeting 9:30ish for breakfast. I was figuring farmer boys around the corner from the venue.

Anyone able to make it to regionals should stop by for breakfast too to make new friends you will immediately get paired against and try to destroy.

I really need to keep up with threads I'm in more often lol I will be joining you guys as well in the mornin'!

for those thinking you'd be able to just walk in and get your game on, I have some important news: the store is sold out.

And that's why Comic Quest will be moving the regional to a bigger venue with space for everyone!

Please keep an eye on the signup page for reopened ticket sales and new venue info!

EVENT LOCATION CHANGED FROM STORE TO BOWLING ALLEY UP THE STREET!

THIS CHANGE ALSO INVOLVES A TIME CHANGE- Tournament now starts 30m earlier. So you need to be at breakfast at 9 instead of 9:30. Sorry.

Forest Lanes - 22771 Centre Dr, Lake Forest, CA 92630

This is a last minute change, and while everyone who was already registered got an email notification PLEASE let anyone you know who is planning on going but hasn't registered yet know ahead of time so they don't show up at the last minute and find an empty store. I mean, no one should be showing up last minute anyway though, because everyone should be coming to the.......

NEW location for Armada Breakfast:

If you want to meet up for breakfast with all the Armada folks, we will be meeting at Panera on the adjacent corner from the new venue for breakfast at 9am instead of 9:30. Come and hang out with all your new Armada friends and enjoy a good meal before a long tournament.

The address for the Panera is: 23612 Rockfield Blvd, Lake Forest, CA 92630

Just a bumptiy bump, looking forward to seeing you all in the morning for breakfast at the Panera Bread at 9am!

Because when I think nerdy California gaming meetup, I think Panera Bread.

See you there, but we better be hitting the bowling pub after!
