Just to really confuse the issue, my preorder retailer here in Aus list Jan for the core and accessories, Feb for the rest of wave 1 and march for veers/snowtroopers.
Edit: I lie, just rechecked and the jan stuff has been changed to feb.

Setting an actual date on a pre-order might be required for some listing locations. Additionally, are you more likely to preorder something with no set date, or something with a particular day you will get the item?

bout the only guarantee ( based on track record) is it will be a thursday release.
Which makes the likely dates the 1st,8th,15th or 22nd

And those dates work for both February and March. ?
I've got an increasingly bad feeling we won't even see the core set until march, or **** even the beginning of april.

I doubt April if most distributors already have the game in hand. It is even less likely if the STORES have it in hand, as the product is a lot bulkier than say cards or books for keeping in backstock for that long.

I don't think so. I asked Asmodee Germany a few days ago (the german distributor). They told me end of march / begin of april. AND that it would be released worldwide at the same date. So this matches to the dates below.
23 march? I need to completely recheck my excitement levels cause thats a good full two months from now...good lord.

I always giggle when I hear or read that ... well played
Late March ... essentially end of Q1 ... less than awesome. Guess it gives me time to still figure out how to paint minis and build terrain. As mentioned, though, excitement level sort of running little lower the longer this goes.
Matt Wison is promising a release before Adepticon, which is March 22nd through 25th.
FFG boaty, double your efforts!
It's all good, as long as the next Necromunda release comes out in the interim.

Hey at least we won't have to buy the core box multiple times to run a full list of 800 points. Going through that with Armada and Runewars was a pain in the ***.
