Hope so.
I'm glad there is a forum for epic. I have not played yet as my area really only plays 100/6. I own one of each huge ship and would hopefully start playing this version. I do think we really need a new FAQ at the least. Hoping FFG puts in a little more effort into the Epic side of X-Wing as these ships are a little more considerable expense than regular ships. They are beautiful models in their own right though.

My immediate thought upon seeing this new forum was that it *must* presage an increase in official support for the format. To which I say: Woot!
More support would be great, but even just having all Epic threads in one place is a great resource.
If you like flying like a "Pro" deploying Meta friendly Epic lists a new FAQ is required. Simply many upgrade cards were designed ignoring Epic Play. Leia is OK in a 300 pts environment. Zuckuss not. Zuckuss in a future 2 cards Epic Scum is simply a joke.
Now, in my opinion, Epic works better in a non competitive style of play.

Agreed. Like D&D house rules back in the day. Usually, this way is so much easier to play.
