Howdy and thanks for your help clearing this up for me:

For Diplomat, Spynet and Skilled Spacer tokens, it says that unused tokens "are returned to the supply." What does this mean. exactly ? Does it mean the team gets to bank their tokens and save them in their "supply" for next round ? Or does it mean they go back to the "supply" in the box and are handed out again next round ? And if you can bank a Spynet token, can you use more than one before a battle to move multiple ships ? Thanks for you help on this.

You don’t bank them turn to turn.

You generate fresh ones, and unused ones go away.

thus stops you from having one spynet system and saving up 3 tokens from it to use all at once.

But regarding if you can spend more than 1 spynet token on one battle, the answer is yes, but for that you have to control at least 2 or the 3 systems that grant you a Spynet token, as you cannot bank them.
