Could someone explain how the Training Remote card is suppose to work? I've seen a few explanations floating around but I'm not sure which are correct.

its a wildcard modifier. You resolve it like you would any other modifier except it can be resolved with any die icon instead of a specific one. So it can be used to increase the value of another die by 1, irregardless of the icons shown.
