I am new to the game and came up with this list. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

That is some serious wookie rage.

The only downside is that rage wookies cannot reinforce. That is one of the best parts about the gunship. experimental interface and maybe another inspiring recruit to handle all the stress could do it. But you don't really have the points for it. All the re-rolls and focus should push alot of damage thru, but you're ships will go down pretty fast too.

You are locked into green moves which are 1 banks and 1 straights and 2 straights. Your opponent basically can get behind you with ease. A U-wing will outmaneuver you.

Wookiee gunships are mostly good because of reinforce action. Its an evade every attack against them. Without it, they will drop faster than you can say "Raging Wookiee".

As you're a new player, I'd say it's worth playing with a while, until you find weaknesses with it. I think it's a great list to learn on (presuming you're proxying or borrowing cards... I wouldn't say it's worth buying 3x Jumpmaster and 2x U-Wing just to run the list).

Wookiees with Rage hit hard, and are harder to arc dodge than you'd figure for ships locked into mediocre greens. Chewie being a turret will make it a little more protected against folks slipping behind you, too.

However, it it is worth noting the weaknesses of a Rage Wookiee compared to other builds (like Expertise/Predator & Tactician variants). First are the greens. It isn't easy to cross the entire area of that arc, but they do maneuver a lot worse on 1-banks than on 2-hards. Next is the lack of reinforce. 9 HP isn't bad, but 9 HP with a Reinforce is a LOT better. Your upgrades also don't do anything too fancy. You "just" get good offensive dice mods. That's not necessarily a problem. However, you're not adding stress or protecting other friendly ships or other similar things. You just hit hard.

If you've got the ships, seems like it'd be worth devoting some table-time with. Better to feel out the ways in which they might not be optimal, and use that to develop a broader game-knowledge.

I have a friend who used to run 3x Auzituck with Rage. Wullffwarro with Rage, IR, Kyle Katarn. Lowhhrick with Rage, IR, IR, Experimental Interface. Liberator with Rage, IR, Jan Ors. This leaves Wullffwarro with 2x focus and an Evade, and Lowhhrick has a reinforce token to support his friends. I played against it a few times, and so did other folks in casual games, and I was surprised by how much harder it was to outmaneuver these Wookiees than you'd think, and how hard it was to kill them. Granted, this was before Harpoons. I can imagine that newer ships might be stronger against such a list. I was just surprised by how much stronger they felt than they looked on paper.

Here's a fun Chewy list that does decent and is fun to fly around

YT-1300: •Chewbacca (49)
Smuggling Compartment (0)
•Millennium Falcon (1)
Trick Shot (0)
•Baze Malbus (3)
Operations Specialist (3)

Auzituck Gunship: Kashyyyk Defender (25)
Wookiee Commandos (1)

Auzituck Gunship: Kashyyyk Defender (25)
Wookiee Commandos (1)

Total: 99/100

You can go with HotR Chewy if you want but he would get targeted first most likely.

Can switch out trick shot for something else. And you may be asking whats the purpose of op specs? Well your attacks get stronger when you miss. Ideally you miss first shot with chewy, assign focus to chewy or a gunship. Then instead of rerolling focus you can just spend a focus for 3 hits. Or if you hit with chewy you still reroll focus

I agree with the general consensus: if you get enemy ships in those arcs, may God have mercy on their tiny plastic souls.

But, being stuck to greens is VERY dangerous, and unfortunately, you don't have room to "fix" that, per se.

Now, Chewie is great with IR/Rage, that's fine.

But you need something more for the Auzis. Maybe you could use Rage/IRx2, and Experimental Interface on Wulfwarro or a Liberartor to give him reinforce, focus, and rerolls, put Kanan somewhere on the list to allow whites (probably for the Raging Auzi), and then fit a lighter friend in, like Captain Rex, or a Sheathipede.

This is my preferred wookie list.

Wookie Aces ( 100 )

Wullffwarro — Auzituck Gunship 30

Yeah, an unreinforced Wookie is a dead Wookie.....which is the only blessing to come out of that expansion.
