I was looking at effective imperial lists and this caught my eye:

Pure Sabacc with guidance chips? Why? Can't understand..

I think they simply messed it up when uploading the lists. Guidance Chip should be on the ship with the Harpoon Missle and Lightweight Frame on Sabacc.

The list probably doesn't have room for LWF, and so they threw chips on just because there isn't a reason not to, even if you never use them.

There's LWF on Quickdraw, who has Harpoons. He could switch them around if he wanted to get use out of the chips. (Incidentally, Vader also has EU, not chips, and both he and QD have Crack Shot.)

My guess is he's making Quickdraw as unattractive a target as possible while keeping Sabacc appearing as reasonable a ship to try to kill as possible. Since Vader and QD have harpoons, Sabacc is probably flanking.

The Krayts will put chips on ships for "disrespect".
