How hard is strange eons? Can a person with circa 2007 photoshop skills figure it out?

If anyone has experience and would be willing to help, that would be awesome. I have some ideas for alt art cards I want to bring to regionals to give to my opponents as some fun swag.

I found it very user friendly, but I have never taken any of my customs and tried to print them...yet.

It's super easy to use for official-looking cards. There's a bazillion little boxes that you type all your numbers and text into, and it does the work for you (very intuitive). It then saves the cards (front and back) as a .jpg for you.

For custom cards, I actually just like Microsoft Publisher, because you can insert text boxes for all the text and numbers and drag them around and stuff. And then save as a .jpg.

The best way to print them, in my opinion, is makeplayingcards.com, which is pretty cheap, and has no minimum order. They usually take a couple weeks to print and deliver though, just FYI.
