Mon Cal Exodus

By Raging Celt, in Star Wars: Armada

Oh man oh man. MON Cal Exodus? Sign me up! This is one of the cooler things to come back from way back when. Anyone else jumping on this and buildie a Mon Cal exodus fleet?

Everyone laughed when me and @shmitty made our Garm tank fleets. Who's laughing now?

Depends on how the Raid tokens actually work.

O far they said they stopped you from using the command.

Even if it’s for a single turn, she’s still laughing ?

Still everyone I'd imagine. I say as I plan out how many mc30s I can run with a pelta for all shields and a couple transports for tokens

Still us.

I’m feeling a lot of disrespect here @BiggsIRL

Im actually not sold on Exodus Fleet. It’s nice that it buffs tokens, but the trick of Engineering based strategies is getting the damage on the right ship at the right time or getting your opponent to spread out their attacks.

I’m much more of a fan of Projection Experts or TFA/STM.

No need to spend a token to toss 2 shields anywhere with Projection Experts.

I generally have only really needed one comms net to keep things going. One ship tends to need it more than the others, so you're feeding the tokens to that ship. I've r eally loved the titles on MC30s. A token becomes 4 Engineering points, allowing you to save their command for navigating or con fire. It makes Ackbar MC30 Scouts have excellent endurance.

Garm token'd MC80 says "I'm going to regain every shield on this side arc now, thank you."

Comms Net tokened MC80 says the same thing :D

Sure, if you want to run FLOTILLA.

I mean, I bank a token on it, and then use it for commanding squadrons from then on. I hate the ubiquity of the things, but it's hard to argue how damned useful they are.

So to summarize, I get an activation, 2 squadrons to command, and I don't have to tie my hands behind my back by running Garm. What's not to like?

Man, this Steel Squadron Civil War is INTENSE. Good thing @Snipafist and I agree on everything and never fight, especially about how incredibly broken Sato is and how Ozzel sucks and should never be run ever.

Yup, definitely good.

You fool! You shouldn't be taking hull damage! Garm is spreading everything around with Advanced Projectors.

Edit: Also Garm is free to use his Navigate dial on Turn 1 and 2 because he didn't have to bank anything.
