I wrote a Batrep after proxying the MC75. Have a look.

Chris hates playing against my objective shenanigans so he opted for second. I chose Solar Corona and deployed all my ships first. The two CR90’s were on the left side of the map at speed two, the MC75 and the two flotillas were on the right side going straight at speed two.
Christ dropped an ISD and a Vic going straight towards the MC75. He then dropped the last vic on the right, directly perpendicular facing the side of the ISD, and moving to the left.

Round One, everyone moved up, stored tokens, no shots.

Round two. I knew the MC75 was in range of the ISD, and DCap of the Vic, so I opted to move and try to block the vic. I misjudged and got a millimeter inside medium of the ISD. This most likely determined the game. I took a ton of damaged, Chris rolled several accuracies. I braced the first using ECM’s but the ISD attack rolled two accuracies and all I could do was contain damage. I did line up a sweet double arc on the vic at close range. Everyone else moved into range, both CR90’s were just out.
Round three, I had an engineering and a token on the MC75, I re-genned three shields, and got off two APT attacks on the vic. I left it at four hull. I was actually quite disappointed I didn’t kill it. My externals came up blank even after an ordnance expert re roll. But man it was fun to roll that much dice. I then sped up to speed three and tried to get into long of both ships.
He retaliated with the vic to keep it from dying, The MC75 Braced and redirected.
I went with my Adar flotilla and brought the vic to one hull thanks to Torryn assisted VCX bombing.
His ISD took a long range shot at the MC75 and brought it to one hull.
My CR90’s then dropped the vic and tried to stay at long of all his arcs.
Round four, I went with the MC75, got off another APT into the ISD and a long range shot into the vic.
Chris went with the ISD. He made a smart play and didn’t target the MC75. He gunnery teamed a Flotilla and a CR90. Both were in medium. He was able to pop both, with exactly the right amount of damage he needed on the CR90. I intentionally rammed the ISD with Torryn, to say out of the front arc. His vic went and damaged my last CR90. I pulled a “can’t attack at long range” crit. With gunnery teams he finished off the MC75.
Round five, I moved Torryn and finished off the interceptors. She skated through two front arcs and lived thanks to bright hope. My CR90 flew off in the other direction with no hope of re-engaging.
Round six everyone ran away.
Thoughts on the game:
I hate Jerry. I have to admit I get overconfident when I see vics on the table. I naturally assume they can’t turn. With Jerry, they are great. ISD’s with Jerry are just plane scary.
I also hate Solar Corona. I doubt I will ever pick this again. I should have picked Capture the VIP, and focused on whatever ship had the token. I think I would have done better.
I flew poorly. I should have circled the other way with the MC75 and had the cr90s come from the back. Instead they ran towards each other, giving Chris multiple opportunities for gunnery teams.
Thoughts on the MC75:
It is very fun. I got off three APT’s blew external racks. It performed well.
Two real defensive tokens is hard. I expected to use Walex more but he was a non-factor.
Double arcing wasn’t hard, albeit with not quite the right base.
Speed three is great. That is my one complaint on the HMC80.
Both versions have so many good upgrade slots, you can go crazy and fill each one. With only two tokens this is a mistake. It should be kept cheap so that it doesn’t hurt to lose if it goes down.
I want to try the other version in an ackbar conga line. I dare you to block me.
