I'm in for standard x-wing tonight, will also have L5R cards just in case.

I should be there tonight. Starting to practice with a few squads I'm thinking can handle the current meta and regional in late February.

I probably will NOT be there tonight (Jan 12th).

Bought a house this week and have a bit of deadlines and decisions to make before Monday.

Good news is that we will have a nice rec room area for table top and board games.

This is John, I will be there tonight (1/12) and hopefully (delivery permitting) will be able to field a full rebel squad. If not then I will only be able to provide 75-ish points myself.

Would like to play rebels if you guys can supply some supplimentary ships for a full build.

I will try to post whether or not I've gotten said delivery before I arrive.

I haven’t gotten permission from Mrs fuzzy yet. Idk. ???

I'll be there with ships. And a few samurai just in case.

Got confirmation package has been delivered so I'm excited to field a full squad tonight.

If we're going to start preparing for Regionals, we should all be willing to play Nymiranda against each other.

Yeah. That's what I heard from OTHER regional reports as far as the meta.

Personally I think a strong alpha strike list kills Nymiranda. BUT who in our small group is interested in playing Nymiranda against us for practice?

We all need to bring Nymiranda to give each other practice against it.

Problem with alpha strike is that Nymiranda has a pretty **** nice alpha strike too. Proton Bomb + Sabine that Nym can launch before or after moving can kill alot of small ships on it's own. Then Nym and Miranda can each fire Harpoons at PS 10 and 8.

People are thinking Ion control can neutralize Nym and it can, but your Ion ship needs to survive that first alpha strike.

Seriously. After seeing more results from regionals, I would not be totally disappointed if I missed regionals again this year.

I get the meta thing and I certainly have had times when there have been "meta" lists I like to fly and "meta" list I don't like the fly.

BUT when 7 of the top 8 are mirror matches... that's just dumb. Paratoni was that way and the games were boring to play and boring to watch.

I figured the meta was wide open but I wonder if maybe that was just the small bit in and around Tacoma?

I think that's just because people don't know how to fly against it. I bet they get thrashed this week. If they how 50% of the top for the next 2 weeks then I would worry. I think it was just a fluke.

As wedge stated ion racks this list, I think a running fat turret will also be as effective.

I searched around for some really good players. Couldn’t find any. All the really good players already play at the game matrix.

I was considering quickdraw and 3x Nu.

You fly the gunships well already, Wedge. ACCEPT for one thing... the arc caster cannon is rebel & scum only, right?
