After 4 playthroughs of FotFF ...

By The Cocky Rooster, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I'm going back to Descent RtL. What are you playing until the next campaign is released?

Fallout & Gloomhaven

BSG, always BSG. And (also) Fallout if just 4 players. And IA campaigns in Play by Forum.

I've never tried PBF. How is it?

Highly strategic, highly tactical, involved, committed. :D Can usually finish in less than a year.

Almost sounds like the Jabba's Realm campaign I had that died after 8 months :(

Another note to self: Try Twilight Imperium 4

Getting a campaign up and running for Star Trek RPG; I'll now duck as the wrath of partisan fan boys fling toy lightsabers at my head, as my fellow equal opportunity nerds laugh at my expense...

I didn't even know such a thing existed

I may get hit in the head for this but what is FotFF?

Which thing? Trek RPG, partisan fan boys, toy lightsabers or equal opportunity nerds?

Trek RPG :)

There've been a few, but the one I'm getting up and running is the most recent of them; recent enough that it only has a core book and one book of missions, plus the usual RPG swag, like GM screen, dice, etc. Modiphius printed the first round of stuff last fall. So far I'm liking it.

Pasi is an excellent Imperial.

It's very analytical, but good fun to have a very competitive version of the game.

As my group's Imperial it's been great to try my lot as a Rebel.

It's pretty easy to get a hang of the posting and dice rolling too.

Is this only on BGG?

That I know of. BoardGameGeek gives pretty good tools to perform and format activations, including dice rolls. And there's a subscription system with notifications if you don't otherwise frequent the site.

I have heard of some groups playing the campaign on the Vassal Campaign module online.

I have all the components fully painted but I don'tget IA to the table as much as I'd like. I'l have to try this PBF

You talking about the Modiphius Star Trek Adventures? I've been thinking of checking that out. I love the miniature sculpts.

I recently found all my computer files and some printed materials for FFG's SWRPG. Haven't GM'd a game since summer of 2016. I started printing up player handbooks and gaming aids. Getting the GM itch again.
