So in addition to my usual goals to shed a few pounds, eat out less and spend more time with my kids, I have some gaming and specifically legion related goals this year. I am doing a 10x10 challenge (pay ten games ten times each) in order to get more out of the games I already own. My 10x10 list this year is: Agricola, rivals for Catan, escape the curse of the temple, dead of winter, Lewis and Clark, a few acres of snow, eminent domain, constellations, summoner wars and hive. I am trying to focus on old favorites mainly this year.

I also have some legion resolutions! I want by the end of the year to have my core set fully painted and a 3x3 board completely done. We will see how this goes. Having three kids (one of whom is a newborn) and getting my second degree is going to eat up a lot of my painting and building time.

So what are you doing this year?

No no no... My games are not slaves. I compensate them.

My work schedule makes painting a challenge. Major challenge. Also, as a new painter, I am finding my OCD, competitive tendencies are making it hard to finish models in a timely fashion. My goal is to get my base set of Rebels painted over a month. Do them just good enough; not go OCD and, then, discover what will be the local night at the multiple shops in town. Then, try and make it every other week.

Resolving to let go of perfection in my painting.

Build a 6x3 Tatooine board (currently I'm building modular pieces, but hoping to attach them to a larger board in the future) as well as paint an entire 800 point Empire army.

I have never painted a mini or played a wargame before, so this seems to be a reasonably challenging New Years Resolution. We'll see how it goes!

The fact you can do anything gaming wise with a newborn and two other littles.... kudos to you my friend.

My goal is similar... core fully painted and enough scenery for a 6x3 area. I still haven't decided on what theme to go for just yet.

It's a challenge for sure! But when you are up with a fussy baby anyway you might as well play a game!

Grats on the newborn Devin! I have three boys myself, although they are 14, 12 and 6. My 14 and 6 year old play IA with me, and the 6 year old decided he wanted X-Wing for Christmas, so we got him a core set and a couple of expansions, and both he and my 14 year old like playing that as well. Hopefully they will be interested in Legion as well!
