So I'm considering buying a Venator in WSF as the FUD is just too much for me to spend on one ship, If anyone has pics of the WSF one could they post them here. I'm also curious about the premium, it's not as expensive as the FUD but is the improvement in quality worth it? Also what's the munificent frigate like in WSF?

I have the Munificent in WSF and looks good. Surely in FUD would look much better, but taking into account how much cheaper WSF is, I like the result.
I have to take them better pictures, for now I only could take this ones with my cellphone that are all fuzzy 
I had heard from a Warhammer gamer at my FLGS that if you buy the Shapeways WSF and use a fine gemstone/jewelry polish you will be able to slowly, meticulously, and carefully smooth the plastic out and - provided you can invest the time - will be able to save money on your miniature prints AND get that nice FUD appearance.
I haven't tried it yet, I have a few WSF X-Wing scale ships to try it on but, until I give it a go, I will continue to shell out for the FUD (a lot easier to justify for X-Wing Minis than Armada ships...a lot easier to justify to myself, not the wife...that's impossible either way 
).

Wsf dosent look all that bad from a distance. I think that on the table most wouldn't notice, but you most certainly will.
Get it in black hidef. You'll have small bumps on the bottom that are easy-sh to remove and some flashing but for about 20-30min work you have something that looks the same as FUD on the top and better than WSF on the bottom for cheaper than FUD. (Just don get dreadnaughts in BHDA, big mistake...)

BHDA has a size constraint due to the printer, most of the larger sculpts aren't available in it.
I guess mel must have dropped it, I have one, it's a tricky material to 3d print in it seems.
If you get the right painter it can look good. My friend did my Separatist Dreadnought and it looks amazing.
