Rebel Tournament Lists for a New Player

Greetings all, I've only just gotten into the game and there's a smallish tournament coming up this weekend that I could use some list help with. I don't intend to do well but I'd like to use the opportunity to get my feet wet. I'd like to preface by saying that I do not yet own rebel squadrons I as there's a serious shortage around here, but I have two cores and two rogues and villains worth of squadrons. First list is a straightforward Ackbar fleet, second is a little more unusual as I'm trying to cash in on ordnance with Dodonna.

The idea for this list is to maximize speed to get the MC30s in close and quickly to dump face-up damage cards. My squadron choices are really just because I'm new and these are easy to fly; they're there to tie up enemy squadrons and buy my ships time to do their thing. The assault frigate might be an odd choice here as it doesn't particularly synergize with Dodonna very well, at least with the current layout. Please feel free to offer any criticism or feedback, I'm new and all info is worthwhile.

List 1. The Enhanced armament on the MC30 is expensive. I know it allows you to Ackbar at long range but really that ship should be getting up close and personal. DTTs instead if you have them or probably better to look to get ECM on the MC80 and maybe upgrade the vet captain to Intel officer.

All rogue fighters are OK but in turns 2&3 you are probably best off squadroning them anyway to stop the enemy killing 2 before you get a chance to retaliate. Jan and 3 X-wings costs the same and will last longer and the MC80 could easily control them.

List 2 looks ok but I would prefer the admiral on the AFII as it can run away and still contribute to the shooting. An ET equipped Pelta can run away too bit doesn't shoot well while doing so.

The list 1 suggestions make sense, I think I was trying to accomplish too many things at once with my ships rather than focus them a bit.

As for list 2, I'm now toying with the idea of dropping the AFII for a TRC90A and using the extra points for Han Solo. I would also swap the XI7s for ECMs on the MC30s since I don't actually own XI7s and proxies will not be allowed at the tournament. The pelta would also swap the APTs for expanded launchers since I don't own a third copy of APT. New list total is 397, not much of a bid.

ECM is great if you have one brace to protect. An MC30 has 2 of each token so the chances you will need ECM aren't that common. A defensive officer like Lando would do better.
