Fun and informative article. Thanks!

P.S. - 2 attacks from turns 2-5 is 8 attacks total, not 10. :D

Whoops, should have been a 6. Fat fingered it, i think. But updated

A quick note to announce that John and I will be in Indianapolis tomorrow for their Regional. If anyone is there looking for us to say hi, John will be in a sweater and tie and I plan to wear a ridiculous Freeport Pretzels t-shirt (hometown represent!). We'll also have a few (I believe 4) of our Fair Game buddies coming with us.

They're saying prepare for 5 rounds at worst so if you're coming out, prepare for some intense brain burn. I'm expecting at least one ship will be needlessly lost to in large part due to "my brain hurts," haha. They also put out the call for mats, so bring spare mats if you have them. Registration is at 10 (Indiana time*) and play begins at 11. We hope to see a few of you there!

*Remember that Indianapolis is in the Eastern time zone because Indiana is weird, so it's an hour ahead of Illinois (or other Central time zone) time.

There is no daylight savings time in January.

My bad, most of Indiana is in the Eastern time zone. It's weird.

Alright, its been a bit, but I wrote a thing! Because I apparently hate @Ardaedhel and myself, how to fight Admonition:

If Lando did, you can definitely bet that Lando will be jumping out the airlock, so you'll need 8-9 damage AFTER Lando jumps. That's doable.

Hey, you forgot that extra 1-2 you might need to get through the Mothma Hail Mary evade. :D

If it makes you feel better I have Mothma plans that potentially rival even your insanity. You know what Admo/Lando and Derlin/Foresight needed? I'm trading you two of them hahaha.

I suspect we're looking at the same list. :)

Mine has 3 HH, but similar enough!

Also, did the math last night: Vader boarding team killing Lando causes a LOT of problems for Admo. You might be able to pull that Hail Mary evade there, but oof, full strength Kuat ExRax does NOT mess around

It does, buuutt... I don't expect to see too many of those around. Filling the GT/OE/FC slot AND the ExHB/BC/Hardened Bulkheads slot on an ISD with Vader isn't something I expect to see too many people very keen on. Particularly OE on a Kuat that by definition also isn't running Admiral Vader.

Though, LS is still an option there.

I dunno, we'll see. It will get hairy though, no doubt.

Okay, fine, you are the "Leia Guy".

Yay!

Ah, but did you solve the trolley problem?

I did, but the answer is a spoiler for this past week's episode.

Also, JORTLES!

I ran a 7 activation Leia list at a casual tournament and had a blast with it. The idea of running a medium fighter screen with it is interesting and I want to try it out.

The good place is so good.

Can I be the Konstantine guy?

@Ginkapo is there already, and I'm pretty sure even he doesn't want to be known as "the Konstantine Guy."

Cannot Get Your Ship Out turned 1 today, and my wife surprised me and John at our local Armada night at Fair Game with a cake, which was shared by all!

It's got Yoda, it's got an X-Wing stuck in a swamp, it's got an upside-down troop transport, it's glorious.

I'm already bigger than John, but when I'm closer to the camera, I look HUGE compared to him

I think I can speak for John and me in saying it's been a fun year! I'm impressed at how much we've written so far in one year and I'm looking forward to continuing to work on the blog into the future, covering new topics and refining older articles to keep everything relevant as the game continues to develop. Thanks for reading!
