In seriousness, though, this is the scenario I'm looking for WAB: use it to tee up shots for the rammer finishers. Dropping an incidental hull damage or two with WAB and suddnely the flotilla is super vulnerable to the ET or Quantum Storm finisher.

Beyond that, I'm having a hard time finding a really good, reliable application for it.

Combining with Mauler and Saber to kill Jan Orrs. Flotillas arent the target you are looking for..... its a flak upgrade. Everyone begged for one and now cant see what it is....

No, I see what it is. But what platform am I putting it on for that application? What platform...

- Reliably crits with blacks
- Has an ordnance slot
- Is attacking ships
- Is willing to give up flak shots to shoot ships
- Is willing to give up ship-killing ordnance to contribute to killing Jan
- Can pin Jan close to her own ships

If you have few enough blacks that you're not a primary ship-killer, you're probably a Raider, not likely to crit, or both.

If you have enough blacks that you're likely to crit naturally, you're an MC30 or GSD and it's a pretty hard pitch to replace APT/ACM/ExRax with this.

Also worth noting that I've never asked for a flak upgrade because I think flak is fine.

It will specifically counter Jan inside the GH bubble though, so it's got that going for it I guess, which is nice.

Yeah, Shmitty mentioned the same thing. I do think spamming across lots of small ships it is going to be the only way to make it work.

That was the main purpose I saw from the beginning. It is good to be usable against flotillas though.
