Hi all. Can someone explain how exactly inner fire spell (from 3rd edition) works? If i use it, do i have only to exert and my hero skill will activate right after that, or do i have to exert, and then also use my surge token?

And, if second is right, then i have to exert as one battle action, then my opponent do his battle action, and only after that i can trigger my surge ability with surge token, or may i exert and use surge token as one action?

You exert, spend the surge, and resolve the ability

All of this i do as one battle action, or as two? One the card it's written that i should exert as battle action. So it looks like i need to exert at first, then waits for my opponent do his battle action and only after that i can spend surge token and activate ability.
