This is a fun annoying control list I think, and I'm so going to give it a whirl. Snapshot anyone trying to range control Harpoons, or just harpoon them if they stay in the bubble. Either way they are gonna get shot. Meanwhile, Ion Torpedoes because 4 dice and a couple of ion tokens is never a bad thing.

The lower PS Nu Squadron will probably do better with Long Range Scanners to deal with Target Lock issues.

Snap Shot is interesting, but I'm not convinced 2 snap shots will do that much damage - you might be better with some range 1 ordnance instead.

I'm also not so sure Ion Torps are a good option. You do run the risk of hitting your own ships in the ion blast.

you'd be surprised how much damage snap shot can do. It's a thousand paper cuts. But the idea is more for range control. There are better options than Ion torp I'm sure... ion blasts are pretty fun.

If you spend and lose your torps, or are outmaneuvered early on, it will be hard to keep up with other ships. Just a thought

Ion Pulse Missiles are cheaper and can fully ionize a large base ship. Also avoids the potential of ionizing your snappers. On the downside they do a max of one damage.
