Firstly, it's canon.
Secondly, it could give us Scum crew cards for Lando Calrissian, Mara Jade, Hondo Ohnaka and K'Arymn Viraxo. Along with a plethora of potential gambling-themed titles, including the Lady Luck, High Roller, Raw Deal, Fortune and Glory...
Thirdly, while both the Rebels and Imperials have both a transport and corvette class epic ship, there's no reason why Scum has to follow that precedent. The factions don't need to be uniform.
Finally, it has a swimming pool on board. Water sports are probably one of the few things the game doesn't include at this stage.
Ya, know, with FFG trying to keep the game fresh with new mechanics, like dual cards, mobile arcs and conditions, maybe the Yacht could be the opportunity to have the first Huge base with several individual pilot cards with different PS and abilities instead of just the standard one generic ship card. They wouldn't really even need different cardboard bases for each, just some sort of marker that attaches to the base pegs.

Well, in truth you just need to make a title for each one, and a matching crew card for it's owner that says Huge Ship Only.
I'll repeat myself and ask for the RoTJ/Brah'tok gunship for Rebels. Per Wookieepedia it was designed with an anti-starfighter role, so it could add a fun wrinkle against epic swarms and squads.
For scum I propose the YU-410 . I know it's as obscure as an ewok in the judland wastes, but hear me out. The two cargo bays could fit a Z-95 (or a scyk since its of a similar size). The wookieepedia entry doesn't mention the carrier feature, but I found it on a SW roleplaying page. So the box set would have two YU-410 (it's Falcon size) with an epic only modification that allows them to be carriers. In normal 100/6 they can be sort of a scum Falcon.
Good god, I hope we don’t get that yacht.

And that is probably the way it should be done for game play.
Fluffwise, I was just thinking that on capital ships, while you may have a helm officer doing the piloting, you have a commander giving orders and other crew involved with tracking targets, giving sensor readings, plotting courses etc. so there really is not one pilot controlling the ship. The luxury Yacht is more likely to be less crew intensive. It would make sense (in this fictional world) for Mara or Lando to be actually doing the flying.
Anyway, back on track: I vote for the Wilde Karde!!!
Then we start over.
Then after that, we gots these prequel thangs.
Basically I want Epic to be like this:
I was looking in how we could make more maneuvers out of the huge ship maneuver tool much like how they came up with the S-loop and T-roll. But nothing that flips the ship around such as that.
I am clearly on board with the Star Jewel. If they would release it, Id prob buy it as soon as I see it in my brick and mortar store.
AFTER the Star Jewel, I would like a Royal Naboo Cruiser (from E1) complete with 2 N``1 Starfighters for Escort.
To me, both the Star Jewel and the Action VI look stupid. Just an opinion but particularly the Action VI's little carry handle I just can't take seriously.
My vote would either be for the Crusader Corvette because it's just so pretty or for the Hammerhead in a dual Scum/Rebel release including two X Wings, one Blue Squadron and one Gerrera Partisans with appropriate cards for each. I mean, Leia turns up with three of them and they're commented on as old and junky by Ezra I think so could see Scum having access to them.
22 hours ago, SabineKey said:First pick for me is the Action IV because I really want the Wild Karrde. Talon Karrde would make a fun crew and we could get a new Mara Jade crew plus made have her as a pilot for accompanying small base ship (in this case, likely a Z-95).
The Luxury Yacht would be a fine addition as well, again with Mara Jade and a Scum Lando.
Now, with how the C-ROC is, I do feel the next Scum Epic should be more combat focused like the Corvette or Raider, which makes something like the Maurader-class make more sense. The Kom'rk also fits this mold, but due to behaving unlike other Epic ships in the shows, I'm very iffy about this being the right call for it.
All this. ^
BTW, the Action IV has some "combat" configurations, like the Interceptor-class.
I know the Crusader-class is gorgeous, but considering all the options (and lore), I would prefer the Action IV.
I'm hoping for the Crusader.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Crusader-class_corvette
It doesn't fit asthetically with the C-Roc, but then the Scum aren't a unified faction. Plus, it looks cool.
I think the most likely canidate is the hammerhead.
Hammerhead and the Arquitens Light Cruiser. Although, I'm really not looking forward to something even bigger than a Raider for sheer size on table.
Actually, take it back,
Hammerhead and the Corvus. (Though the Corvus is really boring). I'm gonna prefer the Arquitens. Loaded with heavy batteries meant for destroying other epics at R5 easily. Preferably also with something to combat swarms of ordnance/cannon ships, though perhaps not too efficiently.

Although I love the design, I think the Arquitens is way too big.
And what they should do for the Corvis is simply make a title card and stick it into the next Rebel Huge. WE DO NOT NEED A REBEL RAIDER RELEASE. Huge ships are too **** rare as it is; the Rebs can just buy the Imperial expac.

I'm not fond of either design, but I have a strong feeling that the Action VI is the missing SKU 71 and that it will include a Z-95 Headhunter -- possibly with a Nashta Pup paint scheme. It seems like a good choice because of its EU fan appeal, plenty of lore to work with, it's armed but not too heavily, and it can include a starfighter docking bay.
Might wanna bring this back up, and I will say this in defiance of all who hate the look, I think with proper panel lines, and a bit more detail, the Victory II Frigate will be a really great addition to this game, and not only would it be that great addition, it would be a slap in the face to EA every time someone buys one because we all love Classic Battlefront II just that much more then the shame that is 2017's edition. But in all honesty, it would prob be able have great anti starfighter systems compared to other ships considering its use in BF2.
I think the design would look great on the table next to the classic VT-49 Decimator,
Good example of updating the design is right here, as created by someone for Empire At War mod, I'd like to think this is Warb Null's work, but its been so long so if someone else knows who did this creation might wanna pop up here. I always thought it was way better looking then the Tartan Patrol Craft. (On the right)
How much larger is an Arquitens to a Raider?
I still think its gonna be Hammerhead for sure, and Corvus or Arquitens.
34 minutes ago, Blail Blerg said:How much larger is an Arquitens to a Raider?
A Raider-class Corvette is 150 metres long.
the Artiquens-class Light Cruiser is 325 meters long.
So over twice as big. A Nebulon B Frigate has less mass than an Artiquens.
Source: Wookieepedia (that totally reliable fount of all things Star Wars).

I associate this with the Rebels, not Scum. But I would be very glad if we got a Hammerhead with components for running it with both factions.
`A fun idea just poped in my head, maybe not for the next epic, but down the line, What would you guys say about them releasing a body kit for the CR-90 slots in where the Radar Dish, and Front Duel Cannon sits (as they can easily be rotated and removed) turning it into the Far Star.

While you're reminding me of villains that piss me off, throw in Anton Azzameen. Maybe make him a dual faction Imp/Scum crew similar to Maul being Rebel/Scum. He's also got an Action IV,
Big Score,
so that could be another title/pilot if that's the one released. Could have the ability to sell out your family too

They won't make the Arquitens. It's bigger than a Nebulon-B. There are other means, however. I have a commission painted, 3D printed Nebulon-B and I put in a commission order for an Arquitens that should be done early next summer (I'm on a waiting list).
