It's from a non official Russian poster that Disney have claimed they don't know anything about. Could be something, might be someone's Photoshop job. Too early to know TBH.
Personally, I think the original poster looks fairly professional and good, which makes me think they're working at least in part with actual promotional imagery. But the probable setting in the SW timeline for the movie makes big structural changes to the Falcon seem unlikely., IMO. I also feel like that might be an old EU look the Falcon had at one point way back in the past, which might be a source for the image if it is fake.
Yeah, who knows if the image is in any way accurate. But it seems plausible to me that we could see the Falcon closer to the way it looked when it came off the assembly line. I've been assuming that the Solo movie would take place about 10 years before A New Hope, which is plenty of time for Han to turn Lando's shiny ship into the stripped-down rat rod that Luke calls "a piece of junk".
I'd say it's highly likely. It has all the hallmarks of a small regional company not being quite as secure with their assets as Disney would like.
It won't be a new Falcon in the game, though. What you're looking at there, ladies and gentlemen, is an Outer Rim Smuggler before Han makes all his modifications.

In the prequels we see the ship that will become the falcon in a sort of cameo. If I don't recall wrongly it was acknowledged and some merchandise came out around it, so this shape will break continuity or will come accompanied by a weird excuse.

I don't see that being an issue.
We see the Falcon in the prequels about 20 years before ANH(give or take). Assuming the new Falcon is legit and the Han Solo Movie is set 10 years before ANH there is no reason to say that the ship could not have been refitted/stripped in that time between prequels and Solo movie.

Could be but feels a bit off. Seems too big of a refit, normally you will swap parts, remove unnecessary stuff or add modifications but always towards a goal. The only reason I see to add and then remove something this big is it's purpose failed miserably.
I hope we see some more about the movie soon though
I'm looking forward to it though I would like a mature movie like R1 but I think it will be more for youngsters (looking at this material at least)

I don't know, for me it looks like Scum Falcon with Scum Han and Scum Lando.
Well I don't care I won't be watching it, Disney's written off this movie already.
There were rumors about before this that the Falcon will look like it did in RotS; with the white and blue paint job.
A space fork lift without any tines? Doesn't seem very 'stock' to me.
I guess we can't really rule anything out, but I'm hoping the falcon is the sacred talisman that Disney don't mess with. The poster is fake so I guess we count the falcon as fake until told otherwise.
On a personal note, I'm cool with the paint job, but the Ki Adi Mundi forehead looks horrible.
Edited by BVRCHcan't help but notice that the ammunition in Chewie's bandolier is different that what we've seen.
There are other details that are different than usual and consistent with the leaks, like Han's jacket and Daenerys' earring, which convinces me that this is either official art or based on official materials.
It would be pretty easy to composite together official materials with fanart tbh.

Indeed.
It looks like this is a composition of some leaked official art with a fan art Millennium Falcon.
Here is another image of the characters:
Whether real or not, the Falcon from Solo when it comes to X-Wing Miniatures should sit squarely in Scum and Villainy, right?
not the real deal, confirmed as not real by Disney.

apparently a a fan in russia made it, and included a fan redesign of the Falcon.

I don't think we've seen enough to make that determination. Maybe the factions in X-Wing aren't well suited for this movie. Han might not be a smuggler yet. He might be a lawman of some kind at the beginning of this movie.
While Solo gives us the best chance to see a Star Wars movie without a heap of Imperial and Rebel stuff, it probably will revolve around that conflict. I expect Imperial and Rebel entanglements such as spies and smuggling of weapons. I expect some twists of our expectations -- Lando starts out as a Rebel sympathizer but by the end of the movie he decides it's too much trouble and that he's better off working for himself, Han starts off as an Imperial officer but gets betrayed and ends up on the lam where he can only make a living through smuggling, stuff like that.
It's possible that Solo movie is set before the "Rebellion era going way forward" timeframe that FFG has so far adhered to with this game. If it's 10 years before ANH, it may be out of bounds. But I think FFG would use any excuse to add a new Falcon design to this game. Give it a 4-dice mobile arc or whatever and it'll become a top seller.
How scummy does FFG see Scum to be? Would it be too jarring to see Han Solo and Boba Fett fighting on the same team? I guess that sort of happens in that Star Wars Holiday Special cartoon.
I'm leery enough about the movie as it is. I'm sure I'll still see it, but this is the least excited I've ever been for an upcoming Star Wars movie since Revenge.
What I'm more certain of, though, is that in it's current state, I don't think this game needs a THIRD Han Solo/Chewbacca in a THIRD Millennium Falcon. It's such an obvious tie-in that I don't know how FFG could resist it, but there's going to have to be something amazing in that box to convince me that I need to find a way to store another Falcon.
Really the only reason for yet another falcon is to make it a mobile arc like they should have done in heroes
Then it would step on the Lancers toes instead of the jm5k, and probably still be inferior
Edited by ficklegreendiceThe article about the Falcon that FFG did for Heroes of the Resistance* implied that Lucas Film didn't have an "official" model for the Falcon until The Force Awakens. So if Disney went to the trouble to do that just a few years ago, I don't quite see them doing another redesign quite this quickly- especially if it would knock it out of visual continuity with the OT.
I do wonder how FFG will sell us packs for this upcoming movie. I think we'll _all_ grumble about a 3rd separate Falcon, with the associated upgrade cards we'd probably want.
So I dunno. Maybe a Most Wanted style pack with a small fighter and cardboard for unincluded ships.

I just hope Dash Render makes a cameo in this movie!

It's reasonable to assume that Lucasfilm have created fresh master Millennium Falcon files for its appearances in Episodes 7 and beyond. That doesn't imply much to me about the effort they would put into the Falcon as it might appear in an earlier setting.
Really, I can only think of good reasons to create a new version. It'd sell toys and T-shirts. A shiny-new version of the Falcon fits Lando's character. It was his ship originally, right? There's a chance for this movie to change what we think about the Millennium Falcon's reveal in A New Hope. It can show us what a decade of smuggling in the Outer Rim can do to a ship, especially if the owner is inclined to make modifications. The difference should be stark.
