Can't remember who designed this card. Probably one member of this gentle community. I like this Pilot. As I and my friends love OTS ships, fly quite often fan made pilots and "Y Wing only" upgrades.

Not a superb meta breaking card. But good looking

PS 7. Of course worse than the Big Boys. But PS 7 is really good when you play 300+ pts. Less PS race and you can shoot faster than Huges and scorting generics.

Flexibility. Extra punch when firing Torps or fly near a ship that must be protected firing deadly Ions (TL Action plus free Focus). You receive the Focus if you fly slow even if you are stressed.

Superb ECM carrier. I like scenarios depicting a slow, fat ship that must be protected. Per example a GR 75 restricted to Speed 3 max. In those scenarios you can find scorting ships with "scenario only" ECM pods that adds extra defence to the VIP ship. You must reduce the number of scorting ships prior to start pounding the fat whale. So Ekelarc is quite good in this scorting role. Fly slow near the VIP and rock and roll firing your turret.

EPT. When whe play X Wing at home Wave 1 Y Wing named Pilots can equip one EPT. So no big change here. Also Grey Sqdrn PS 4 plus Veterans PS 5. But if you fly this Y Wing during a casual play you will find this refreshing.

Of course not one Tier Pilot. No need to be. In the Outer Rim of the 1001011011 Internet Galaxy there are so many interesting pilots that investing some time searching is a well invested time. Last summer (remember those bygone days playing X Wing wearing bermudas...) Ekelarc hit hard the Bridge of a Victory II SD. The Focus token helped a lot smashing that reinforced cubicle.
