This post to share my fleet and gather some thoughts and advice.

Sloane boosts the squadrons against aces or ships (especially the double res dices from the Tie Phantoms). The Raider is prepared to support the figthers or threaten the enemy flanks. The Victory acts as a shield for the Quasar.

After flying the quasar a fair bit, I can honestly say it is not the place you want your admiral.

Quasars are great as cheap carriers that you can TRADE with. They are like the Empires version of Yavaris, only instead of being able to double tap, they just get to activate double the squads from a platform that isn't a huge point sink when/if it goes down.

My suggestions for this fleet is -

1. Move your admiral to the Victory and add Tua + ECM to it so you don't lose your admiral early. Especially with Sloane, losing her usually means game over as you lose your late game damage source.

2. Either get rid of all the black dice antiship squadrons (Vader, Tie adv, Gamma) and max out on tie/interceptor aces OR switch to Admiral Motti. This list isn't using Sloane enough for her to be worth while.

3. Drop one Coms Net, Vet Captain, and QBT to help free up points for Tue/ECM defenses on the Vic. If you really really absolutely need tokens, (which you shouldn't have you plenty of activations) you can add Hondo as an unlimited range two for one coms net to the naked Gozanti.

As you say, it is not difficult to find points to add TUA / ECM to the flagship Victory.

About the black dice anti ship squadrons, I’d tried them (with Tempest squadron in place of Vader and one Tie bomber squadron in place of a Tie fighter squadron plus BCC) along the Phantom squadrons and I’d found that combination very efficient (especially the Phantom double red dices with Sloane which were awesome). My opponent lost 3/4 of his fleet (one Liberty, one flottilla and one CR90) ; only Tempest squadron and one flottilla for me. I would like also play Vader in his Tie Advanced (just fan irrational idea). I think I will playtest this version (with Sloane on the Victory) and keep the idea of replacing black dice squadrons by Tie Interceptors. :)
