The Chimaera plus 5 ISD's, 2 Interdictors, and 2 Arquitens cruisers will give you his fleet from the Battle of Atollon. You might need a few more ships though if you want to replicate his fleet from Legends materials.

At the moment - nothing. Ignoring them (They're on High Observation Duty!) and concentrating on just what was involved in the firefight at Batonn.

Because it can fit into 400 points and be very thematic

I like it! Minimal thematically correct upgrades with a sufficient number of squadrons. Have you played it?

A Variation that had QBTs instead of RBDs on the Arqs... It won its game, but I overshot my Arq maneuvers by a turn and thus missed out on the QBT shots - so really, I figured I could go without them and went for Survivabulity instead.

Have you considered dual turbolaser turrets to give the cruiser more long range pop from the forward arc?

No, its either QBT or RBD for me... I already roll horrid Red Dice... Why Roll Another that'll just roll a blank... That's like... No effect for 5 points on one shot.

QBT, if I'm setting up double arcs, is not only a more reliable die, its on both shots .

I dont think it matters they could both work

After thinking about it i realize that, once the sheilds are down acms are lethal but if you cant take down the sheilds the apts are better. ACMs however do take down sheilds quickly

I think ACMs get better the more platforms you have throwing them- APTs are always good, but at some point (around the third or fourth ship throwing mitigated black dice) ACMs overtake them in terms of how very, very bad getting hit repeatedly by black crits becomes.

I think it also comes down to your target. Against a large target your statement is true because you need, lets say, 11 APT+rams to kill the ISD as it can shield/redirect a lot of damage. Against smaller targets, your APT gets better as you only need 4 (essentially two ships) or 8 (roughly three ships) hitting with APT and ramming.

For raider spam, this list got me pretty far in the last vassal tournament. It even managed to one shot a flotilla at long range.
