You only need 4 and then 2 Quasars and you have a cracking Konstantine list.....

Love that with Thrawn. I always have the problem of needing concentrate fire + navigate command on the same turn. Ozzel fixes that, but so does Thrawn.

I've done a couple of games with dual Quasars. I like them. One was Ruthless Strategists Rhymerball, the other was a Konstantine travesty similar to what Gink is proposing here (mine was squadronless QF/QF/VSD2/R1/R1/R1).

I'm awaiting the arrival of my fourth Raider. I don't have a particular list in mind but I've been liking the idea of a mini-swarm of them.

QF1's are really not terrible combat ships if they're not your high-priority carrier center of gravity. CR90B firepower with better hull and a brace isn't bad, and 54 points isn't too expensive. Add a Q7 and Konstantine to make them effect triggers and they're pretty decent secondary ships.

But yes, that was the response of everyone who saw it.

My buddy is working on a dual quasar/BCC/double slicers + squads list for the upcoming tournament season and it’s pretty scary... as long as he keeps the quasars *relatively* safe he can put out consistent damage all 6 rounds (provided enemy aggressiveness). If only he could fit two lambdas in there for relay 4 and strategic shenanigans...

Been using 2x raider 1s with boarding engineers and external racks for 2x49=98 points

Very nice way to bulk up on anti-ship, anti-squadron, activations and with a pinch of ruining your opponents day.

Best with Vader for the dice manipulation.

Why stop at 3? Add a few more and create Thrawn's Seventh Fleet.

The Chimaera plus 5 ISD's, 2 Interdictors, and 2 Arquitens cruisers will give you his fleet from the Battle of Atollon. You might need a few more ships though if you want to replicate his fleet from Legends materials.
