So here is a list that if it looks OK, I will be making a Quasar/Gozanti purchase in the near future.....

So the plan is turn 1 slow move and give a Squadron command to all ships bar the Vic, and if possible convert to a token, unless attacked by enemy Squadrons. Turn 2, same commands again, so Quasar can send first six squadrons against enemy fighters, Vector activates 2 bombers and Tie Advanced against enemy ships (speed 5), other Gozanti sends Interceptors and Tie fighter either into fighter melee or at other ships.
That's the plan anyway. Advice is welcome. If this is a no-go I'd rather know now before I splash the cash as I don't have a Quasar or any Gozanti's.

Move admiral sloane to the vic. Im not an imp player by any means, but if i see such a bloated quasar with its minimal defenses floating on the board consider it gone by then emd of the game.

Also with no means to relay your going to have to bring the quasar close or into the fight. BAD idea.

You want to drop to a quasar 1, drop ruthless strategists and add boosted comms. Forget any thought of the quasar antisquadroning, cause you want the carrier to hang back, nice and safe.

You are running Sloane! Your ties have the same expected damage output as the Tie Bombers. Ditch the tie bombers in exchange for more ties and aces - mauler and valen want in on the party.

Ship wise you look ok, but I would swap MS-1 for leading shots and tua ECM on the victory then move Sloane there.

Drakons suggest for quasar is good too.

I run a Quasar I, boosted coms, Expanded Hanger, Flight Controller, Pursuant and it's 71pts and a huge threat with the squads backing it up. (you can drop pursuant optionally, but I found that a turn 3 nav command dial while still activating squads + slicer insurance is worth 2 points)

So after a rethink below are my ships. I didn't want to invest in Corellian Conflict so no Valen Rudor at the moment. Mauler may make an appearance later.

It leaves me on 397, so I have some wiggle room to ditch Kallus and add another boosted Comms and other stuff. I think to swap the two bombers for a Tie fighter and Mauler may put me on 137 unless I drop an Advanced or Int.

Don't see squads there? Did you change any of them?

I left them the same as squad point total is 132, so to fit in Mauler Mithel I would have to drop a Tie Advanced or an Interceptor as well if I swapped out the bombers.

I would still heartily encourage you to drop all bombers and black anti-ship dice.

Sloane is NOT effective against squads. What she does is make ties effective against ships after they have killed all the opponent squads. Drop the black dice and go heavy into sloane, or drop sloane and go with motti, he is a great admiral for an all-rounder fleet like that.
