New Legacies Teams

By Darth Chump, in Star Wars: Destiny

Hi all,

With Legacies almost here (I think...) what new teams with Legacies characters have you excited?

Obi Wan and anyone else seems pretty solid...

Yoda in a five dice hero build might be worth looking into.

But what I can't wait for is Luke/Lando. I have an unhealthy obsession with Lando but I think Luke is a great matchup for 4 dice pair. I like New Luke because of his gun sides (no melee blue sounds interesting ) and his power action seems solid.

What say you guys?

Maul looks good in various combinations of single and elite

Maul Elite/Original Kylo Elite

Maul Single/Darth Vader Apprentice Elite

Maul Elite/Darth Vader Apprentice Single

Maul Elite/Kylo Unmasked Single

Maul's Lightsaber looks like an explosive damage dealer in traditional Vader/Raider Vader/Guard type decks.

Also, Elite Obi-Wan and Elite Maz

eLuke/Yoda. Luke's been looking for a great 10 point partner since the beginning and I really think Yoda is it.

I've tried Palp2 and he is just bad. He is very swingy, but mitigation hurts him a lot.

I'm interested to see Saw Gerrera in play and also seeing if Greedo is good bait for "price of failure" with papa Vader

I'm also looking forward to working with Aayla Secura. I think she'll replace Rey in my eKanan/Padawan/Rey deck.

I qlso want to tinker with eJabba/ eTarkin.

Looking forward to trying some tandem of Jango or Boba paired with Kallus. Not sure how effective it will be, but Kallus's ability is a nice way to play around with Jango and Boba since all three of them have melee and ranged damage.

eGK/eMaz
eMaul/e7Sis
eQGJ/eYoda
eTarkin/Thrawn
eTarkin/eJabba
eRey2P/GK
eWedge/ePoe2P

~D

eKanan/eZeb

ftw

eFinn(Leg) - eRose

eBaze - eAayla

ePoe(2PG) - eAayla

eDr.APhra - e7thSister

eThrawn - eNuteGunray

eTarkin - 2xTrooper

eObi2/eMaz - dominates our local meta.
eKanan/eZeb - right behind it.
eBoba/e7sis - im running it , usually just behind 2 above.
eHondo/ePoe2 - really funny deck, im still tinkering with it.
eVader/Bib Fortuna - 3 Vaders dice per turn? Yes Please.
eK2SO/Aayla - K2 finally have playable partner.

Decks i have yet to create and test
eAayla/Padawan/Kanan
Aayla/eObi
eLando/Wegde/Profitable

I theory crafted a Palpatine/Deathtrooper deck that I think has some potential. The idea is that you get frag grenades on the DT, then after activation you have a high probability of getting two resources off an event. So then you load up with expensive events. Of course, being in the US, I don’t have any Legacies cards, so I can’t actually test it.

Na, I’m (ironically) too cheap. I’ve considered it, but I much prefer the actual cards and dice.

I want to build an Obi-Wan's lightsaber deck. Not sure whether I want to do it with Qui-Gonn or Obi-Two (yes, I know that's Ewan's pilot brother), but leaning towards the latter.

The other deck I want to build is a Wedge deck. Maybe Wedge/Rose/Partisan; not sure yet.

eRose/Japha Rebel/Wedge - Indirect Damage at it's finest.

I played it as a Trilogy format deck and had a lot of fun, my only loss was a Maz/Obi deck that tore it to shreds rolling 6-9 damage every turn. Main problem I have is there are not a good range of removal cards in Trilogy at this time.

Wedge/eLando/Profitable connections - you start with 4 cash. Then turn 1 drop any vehicle (appraise, factory for 5 costs) and turn that to any side with Wedge ;)

Xcuse me kind sir, may a talk to you about our indirect Lord and Saviour Saw Gerrera? :) Take him elite, pair him with eYoda, mulligan for two 5 costs vehicles in your opening hand - drop everything else from your hand and chain the specials :) 10 indirect dmg turn 1 with sick consistency. Never forget Saw can mill YOUR hand ;)
