My character cards special ability says “ Your hand size is equal to the number of credits you have” but I have 4 meat damage that reduces my hand size by 4. So am I right in thinking under this situation if let’s say I have 10 credits at the end of my turn I have to discard 4 cards to comply with the meat damage? If not how do I handle this situation?

Only brain damage affects hand size, not meat damage.

Also I don't know of any runner that has the text you quoted, unless you are taking about the Theophilius Bagbiter resource card.

But yes in the case you have 10 credits with Bagbiter in play with 4 brain damage, your hand size would be 6 cards.

Corporations also cannot take damage?
