Trying to reference both rule books during game play. This is my first time playing this game, and I can't seem to figure out how this event affects me.

During the mythos phase, an even on the app occured that stated:

" The sound of soft voices reaches your ears. This mythos event affects the investigator with the highest (observation skill icon)."

Followed by the " Continue " button.

How does an event like this affect me? Do I take damage or horror? Does it affect my skill? What do I do? It's confusing to me as it isn't worded in a "if you pass, if you fail" way in which I know I'd have to roll dice to test my skill.

Please help!

You select the investigator having the highest Observation, then you click on Continue, and on the next screen you'll be told what to do
